A new advertising campaign that aims to motivate smokers to quit has been launched by the Medway Stop Smoking Service. The innovative ‘Is your habit giving you hassle?’ campaign focuses on the fact that many smokers can often be interrupted by cravings at inconvenient times; such as during work or socialising. Whilst stopping can be tough, NHS Stop Smoking Services provide brilliant, free, specialist support to make quitting easier. A 14 yr. old girl tries to stop smoking cigarettes. A film about her struggle with the addiction and habit. Für Melanie (14) beginnt jeder Tag mit einer Zigarette. Im Laufe der letzten Monate ist das bei ihr zur Gewohnheit geworden. Erst nachdem sie eine geraucht hat, wird sie richtig munter und kann in den Tag starten. Doch das soll jetzt anders werden. Melanie fand Rauchen immer „cool. Wenn andere eine Kippe in der Hand hielten, hat Melanie das immer bewundert. Zuerst hat Melanie immer nur die Kippen ihrer Freundinnen gehalten. Mit 13 fing sie dann selbst an zu qualmen. Ihre Freundinnen steckten sich wieder mal eine Zigarette an und sie qualmte einfach mit. Mittlerweile braucht Melanie an die 20 Zigaretten am Tag, das ist ein ganzes Päckchen! So cool findet sie das Rauchen inzwischen nicht mehr: Beim Sport gerät sie schnell aus der Puste, ihre Zähne strahlen nicht mehr so weiß wie noch vor einem Jahr und die Kippen gehen ins Geld. Immerhin kostet eine Schachel vier Euro! Zu ihrem 14. Geburtstag fasst Melanie einen Entschluss: Sie hört auf zu rauchen. So schwer kann das doch nicht sein, oder? Mit dem Entschluss allein ist es leider nicht getan. Melanie nimmt sich ganz fest vor, keine Zigarette mehr anzufassen. Auf dem Schulhof bietet ihr eine Freundin eine Zigarette an, als Geschenk sozusagen. Soll sie da etwa „Nein sagen? 1. Teil (Part 1)

Unlike many people who were once fit, let themselves get out of shape, then were able to get back into shape, I was NEVER in shape. I was the kind of person who always tried to lose weight, but never succeeded in doing so – the perpetually chubby mofo. I am posting this video to give hope to people that have lost hope in themselves. This video captures what can happen if you stick with BeachBody programs – not necessarily P90X or Insanity – there are a host of other workout programs that can yield similar results. Also, some of the BeachBody supplements, like the P90X recovery drink, vitamins and Shakeology were an integral part getting to where I am now. If you smoke, you’ll have to quit in order to get similar results. Don’t worry, if I’m your coach, I’ll show you how I was able to kick the habit WITHOUT the patch, gum, or prescription drugs. Ultimately, I can’t make you quit smoking, you will have to do that yourself. All I can do is show you what worked for me. Remember, this is not a 90, 180, or 360 day change, but a lifelong commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
